Cost: $295 per night. Minimum 2 night’s stay. Full payment required at time of booking. Last minute one day rental may be available during weekdays at special rate upon request, if available.

We currently do not have any office on site. If you require any maintenance or assistance our contact information is in the welcome book provided in each rental. We are available 24/7 for our guests.

The maximum occupancy per rental is 4. However, we might be able to accommodate a 5th person upon approval. Please send us your special request by email and we will do our best to accommodate you. If your request is approved an extra fee of $30 per night may be required.

Damage deposit: We require $150 damage deposit at time of booking. Full deposit will be refunded upon check out if no damages or losses were observed during cleaning. Please note damage deposit refund may take 5-10 business days to process

Weekdays only if available. No weekends. Please call or send us a message and we will do our best to accommodate you. Cleaning fee of $30 required for our one night stays.

Yes, children are allowed but need to be supervised by an adult at all times. We will not be held responsible for any injury or accidents of any kind during your stay at Bear Island Kingdome.

Absolutely! If you would like to bring a pet, we currently have two pet friendly domes “The Haven and The Hideaway”. A cleaning fee of $30 is required and includes a pet bed, bowls, treats, toy and pop bags for your pet. We also understand that some people might have some allergies to pet therefore we have one dome which is pet free. Please make sure you pick the right one for you at booking!

To respect the privacy and comfort of our guest, we do not allow visitors unless approved prior to check-in. Contact us by email with your request and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Please note that if approved, visiting hours are done at 10:30pm

We have free parking at the top entrance of the property and next to your rental.

PLEASE NOTE! During winter months, due to the slop of the property, you may require parking at the top entrance and walking to your rental, approximately 0.45 km or less.

In the event you need to park at the top entrance due to icy, snowy roads, we will provide a large pelican snow trek sled to help bring your luggage’s.  Please be aware that if you book during the winter, you might need to walk uphill to get back to the parking lot and this could possibly be challenging for some.

ATV’s and Snowmobiles are welcome to park next to their rentals.

We have a designated area for our guest to enjoy a nice bonfire overlooking the Saint John River. Use at your own risk and only if no fire bans or restrictions are in place. The last person to leave is responsible to ensure the fire is out.

Yes, we do. We want to make sure your stay with us is the most memorable. Therefore, we didn’t get the cheap stuff. Each dome and cottages have a 5 person Hydropool SE-5L hot tub with easy lift-rock it covers and Spa steps. You will be able to relax and enjoy beautiful sunsets or sunrise, all year round in your own private hot tub, overlooking the Saint-John River. All included in your rental!

  • Appropriate footwear for the weather as you may have to walk 0.45km to get to your rental in the winter if the roads are too slippery, icy or covered in snow. We will have a sign up at our top entrance next to a parking lot which will advise our guest if the road is temporary closed.
  • A backpack would be preferred if walking up to your dome is needed.
  • Bring weather appropriate clothing. The rentals are all equipped with very efficient Daikin heat pumps and Harman pellet stove but during very cold winter months, the domes can get a bit cold and harder to heat so bring warm clothes for those chilly nights.
  • Bathing suit for Hot tubs or if you want to go have a swim in the Saint John River.
  • Flip flops to get from the hot tub to the dome.
  • Slippers or warm socks
  • Food and your favorite drink. We only provide olive oil, salt, pepper, and a coffee bar but if you need us to get you anything, please send us a special request by email prior to your stay and it can be added to your bill.

Our address is 3697 Route 105, Bear Island, New Brunswick, and we are located approximately 44 minutes from the city of Fredericton, 1-hour 47minutes from Saint John and 2 hours 24 minutes from Moncton. For driving direction, please view the contact us page.

Dishes: Please make sure all dishes are cleaned and put away prior to check-out.

BBQ must be cleaned after each use.

Smoking or vaping is not permitted inside our rentals or outside on our deck area. Smoking or vaping is permitted 7 metres away from our rental property. Please use our outdoor cigarette butt receptacle. A $100 cleaning fee will be taken off your damage deposit if this rule is broken.

Fireworks are not permitted on site due to security measures and to keep our wildlife safe.

Cancellation Policy: All Cancellations or change of date will be charged a 4% fee of the total amount of your booking.

Two weeks’ notice for a full refund (minus transaction fee).

One week notice will be refunded at 50%.

No refund if less then 7 days prior to your check-In date.

We currently do not have any wheelchair accessible dome, but we are planning on having some soon.

To accommodate our corporate clients, we have included Starlink wifi in every dome and it’s available to all our guest should they choose to be connected or disconnected.

Bedding, towels, extra blankets, eight pillows and kitchen linen are all included for your comfort.

Snowmobiles or ATV are welcome. Our site is located along a provincial snowmobile trail. ATV trails require a short drive to get to. We have lots of parking for your trailers. We just ask that you respect the serenity of our site. If you would like more information about the local trails, please contact us prior to check-in.

Yes, we do.  Make sure to book well in advance for us to be able to accommodate you. Please contact us for any special request.

We have stand up paddle boards, kayaks, fishing gear, snowshoes, fondue kits, movie projectors available for rental on a first-come, first-served basis. Please let us know if you have any special requests and we will do our best to accommodate to make your stay memorable.

We have hired someone to clear the snow from the parking lot and road going down to the rental. PLEASE NOTE! Due to the slop on the property, you may require a 0.45 km or less walk depending on road conditions during winter months. We will provide a large pelican snow trek sled to help bring all your luggage’s in the event you need to park at the top entrance due to icy, snowy roads.  Please be aware that if you book during the winter, you might need to walk uphill to get back to the parking lot and this could possibly be challenging for some. 

If you are unable to attend your stay due to road conditions during a winter storm, please send us an email request to reschedule and we will do our best to accommodate. Please note that it will be our discretion to approve or disapprove your request based on the severity of the road conditions and that once your booking has been rescheduled, no refund will be given in the event that you cannot attend your second booking dates.

Swimming is allowed on site at your own risk.

Children should always be accompanied by an adult. Be aware that in the past, during summer months, blue-green algae have been found present in the Saint John River and can be very harmful to pets if ingested. Please avoid drinking or swallowing the water.

On site boat dock will be available for our guest during the summer months. Boat launch can be done at the Nackawic Arena & Marina (Full-service marina, including a fuelling station) located at 152 Otis Dr, Nackawic NB or at the Mactaquac Power Boat Marina located at 1265 Route 105, Unit 3, in Mactaquac NB
