The site features a mix of geodesic glamping domes and cottages that provide a luxurious stay while immersed in nature having most of the amenities of home. The natural slope of the property provides uninterrupted views of the water, and all domes have water access with a dock for your boat in the summer months.
There is parking at the main entrance and parking for one vehicle at each rental.
There is cellular reception at the site, a fire station, police station, medical clinic, pharmacy, full-service grocery, and liquor store within 16 kms (10 miles radius).
Within a 30km (20-mile radius) you will have access to Crabbe Mountain ski hill with a long 2km run, Mactaquac Championship Golf Course, Nackawic Powerboat Marina, Mactaquac Beach, Mactaguac Provincial Park where you can find mountain bike, cross country skiing, snowshoe, and walking trails, TreeGo zip line adventure site, Mactaquac Sailing Association, craft brewery, a maple syrup camp and local farm experiences.
There is a common fire pit area in the summer where you can sit to enjoy a river sunset while roasting marshmallows, making s’mores, roasting spider dogs, or sipping one of our local craft beverages.
We have free parking at the top entrance of the property and next to your rental. PLEASE NOTE! During winter months, due to the slop of the property, you may require parking at the top entrance and walking to your rental, approximately 0.45 km or less.
In the event you need to park at the top entrance due to icy, snowy roads, we will provide a large pelican snow trek sled to help bring your luggage’s. Please be aware that if you book during the winter, you might need to walk uphill to get back to the parking lot and this could possibly be challenging for some.
ATV’s and Snowmobiles are welcome to park next to their rentals.
Appropriate footwear for the weather as you may have to walk 0.45km to get to your rental in the winter if the roads are too slippery, icy or covered in snow. We will have a sign up at our top entrance next to a parking lot which will advise our guest if the road is temporary closed.
A backpack would be preferred if walking up to your dome is needed.
Bring weather appropriate clothing. The rentals are all equipped with very efficient Daikin heat pumps and Harman pellet stove but during very cold winter months, the domes can get a bit cold and harder to heat so bring warm clothes for those chilly nights.
Bathing suit for Hot tubs or if you want to go have a swim in the Saint John River.
Flip flops to get from the hot tub to the dome.
Slippers or warm socks
Food and your favorite drink. We provide olive oil, salt, pepper, and a coffee bar but if you need us to get you anything, please send us a special request by email prior to your stay and it can be added to your bill.
