The Mactaquac Provincial Park, which is only a 25km drive from Bear Island Kingdome, has several hiking and snowshoeing trails, including 7 kms of groomed trails for cross-country skiing. Fat bikes are available for rent at the park, and complimentary cross-country skis and snowshoes are available courtesy of the Friends of Mactaquac (first come, first served).
